GHOP and Joomla!

Over the past few months, a lot has happend over at KAH studios, though very little of it noticable. So I figured I'd give you an update: Through the month of December and January, KAH studios took part in the new GHOP contest. This contest gave High School students from across the world a chance to develop in the open source community. Over the course of the contest, I completed 4 tasks to advance the Joomla! platform, including a new Joomla! 1.5 quickstart guide. I also took part in the final testing of the Joomla! 1.5 software as part of the contest. Blaze Ministries splintered off of KAH studios, becoming the new headquarters for all band related work. It is also the new home of the Central content management system, the first content management system built exclusively for bands. Good news to all of you seeking a website: Blaze Ministries now supports Joomla! again! Now that all of the licensing restrictions have been resolved and the community calmed down, we can now offer Joomla! services again. We are also announcing that we recommend Joomla! 1.5 over Joomla! 1.0, adding an even greater variety of service to the KAH studios list And that is what has been hapening over here!
